Michelle O'Grady Caballero

FOUNDER AND CEO

Michelle O’Grady Caballero is a thought leader and strategist in the fields of communications, narrative change, and storytelling. She leverages a varied career in lifestyle marketing, experiential, philanthropy, research, advocacy, branded program development, and strategic partnerships to create innovative solutions to complex communications problems. She advises foundations, nonprofit organizations, policymakers, and businesses on how to better develop engagement strategies using data, partnerships, content, and storytelling to shift culture and connect to communities - all through the lens of creating more belonging.

Michelle studied Marketing and Consumer Behavior at Woodbury University and has a Master’s in Media Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. She sits on the Board of Directors for The Washington Center for Technology Policy Inclusion, Advisory Board for Support Latino Business, and is a Google Next Gen Policy Fellow.

Ashley Gibbons

VP OF CLIENT SERVICES

Ashley Gibbons is a communications and marketing strategist with 17+ years of creating campaigns, narratives, and events that further impact clients' reach in nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, and business. At Team Friday, Ashley is a communications strategist working on impact communications strategy, marketing, and client partnerships. Ashley is also an organizer for social justice and has supported door-to-door campaign work, community outreach, and community convenings. Ashley has extensive experience in community organizing, outreach, narrative, and relationship building.

Ashley is active in several community organizations, including serving as a board member of Side Street Projects, a non-profit arts organization, for ten years. Since 2016, she has also served as an organizer with White People for Black Lives, an anti-racist collective and activist project.

Rigo Gonzalez

VP OF STRATEGY AND PLANNING

Rigo Gonzalez is a marketing innovator with an entrepreneurial spirit and emphasis on partnership solutions. Over 16+ years of marketing experience has shaped a strong foundation in account, brand, and service development; especially leading cross-functional teams through the consumer & media landscapes. Rigo has a proven track record of success in business building & social awareness strategy. He has launched a number of new marketing & media practices, which have been scaled globally.

JD Stone

EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

JD Stone is an accomplished creative professional renowned for his exceptional talent in crafting unique brand identities, accessible user-centric experiences, and pioneering innovative multi-dimensional marketing strategies. With an ingrained cultural anthropological perspective and over 16 years of experience in visual design, he weaves cultural nuances into his designs that connect with users on a deeper personal level. At Team Friday, JD leads the Creative Department in designing people-centric and award-winning campaigns that transform intricate concepts into easily comprehensible compositions that bridge the gap between complexity and clarity for diverse audiences.

Sonja Brown

EXECUTIVE MARKETING DIRECTOR

Sonja Brown is Team Friday's Executive Marketing Director with more than 20 years of experience in marketing and business development within Fortune 500 companies and regional brands, including Compass Group, Whole Foods Market, Coca-Cola, and The American Heart Association. She has led communications strategy and execution across matrixed organizations, aligning stakeholders toward a common goal. As a seasoned marketing and communications strategist, her experience includes strategy for brand awareness, new business acquisition, and crisis communications. She is passionate about mission-driven brands and organizations that strive to make a difference.

Diana Aguirre

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Diana Aguirre recently graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in Social Media. Born and raised in Los Angeles, this Guatemalan and Salvadoran is driven to help communities better understand each other to build stronger relationships.

Angela Herrera

EARNED MEDIA MANAGER

Angela Herrera is a seasoned digital communication professional with a diverse background in earned media, press relations, and social media outreach. With a career spanning both federal and state levels, including positions in the heart of Washington D.C., where she collaborated closely alongside the White House, Angela has honed her skills in managing online communications for many organizations. Her dynamic experiences have instilled in her a profound understanding of the ever-evolving landscapes of earned media and press relations.

Angela's expertise extends to her Public Relations and Earned Media Manager role at Team Friday. In this capacity, she has successfully landed and pitched stories to local media and made it her mission to focus on connecting with communities often left behind. Her work transcends traditional boundaries, as she is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America, staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. She is a strategic thinker, adept at crafting innovative solutions to complex communication challenges. Angela's unwavering passion is rooted in her desire to contribute to a more connected, informed, and engaged society.

Nicole McGovern

MEDIA PLANNING MANAGER

With a rich background in media planning and strategic execution, Nicole is a dedicated professional serving as a Media Planner at Team Friday. She collaborates closely with the VP of Strategy and Planning to curate and execute initiatives that drive efficient campaign execution. By partnering with both team members and clients, she ensures a deep understanding of their missions, aligning strategies to guarantee the achievement of goals.

Throughout her career, she has successfully managed a diverse range of advertising needs, spanning from traditional outlets like out-of-home, publications, and radio platforms to the dynamic realm of digital media, including apps and online platforms. Her expertise lies in optimizing tailored media buys that address specific client requirements. She excels in providing accurate quotes, drafting persuasive proposals, and skillfully negotiating contract agreements. Her experience is underscored by a strong foundation in cross-functional collaboration.

Hossien Kaviani

PROJECT AND PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Hossien Kaviani is a Swiss Army knife of creative services. After having worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years in various capacities, he now leads project management for Team Friday, ensuring efficient operations and client deliverables. Currently, Hossien manages everything from video production to talent sourcing, and producing client PSAs that play throughout Los Angeles County. Being a native Angeleno, Hossien loves working with a diverse cast of communities across Los Angeles County and amplifying their stories authentically. He is pursuing his Google Project Management certification.

Anna S.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Anna S. is a Graphic Designer with more than a decade of experience with expertise in large-scale printing, branding, small press printing, and web design. Her previous clients included the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Food Network, DIOR, Bacardi and many others. Anna will support the design creation, execution, and asset building for the creative deliverables.
